AN INK DRAWING BY ABRAHAM WALKOWITZ, RUSSIAN 1878 - 1965
Abraham Walkowitz (March 28, 1878 - January 27, 1965). Walkowitz was born in Tyumen, Siberia to Jewish parents. He emigrated with his mother to the United States in his early childhood. He was an American painter grouped in with early American Modernists working in the Modernist style. The lot is comprised of a signed lithograph album, drawing and another art album dedicated to the artwork of Abraham Walkowitz. Drawing signed and dated lower right.
