ROSEBERY EARL OF: (1847-1929) British Prime Minister 1894-95. T.L.S., Rosebery. (a scarce full example of his signature), one page, 4to, Berkeley Square, London, 11th February 1892, to F. J. Campbell. Rosebery states that he has received his correspondent's letter having just returned from abroad, and asks Campbell on what points he wishes to see him, remarking 'In any case it saves time, and I can then judge whether an interview would be of use', further adding 'But I am not experienced in matters relating to the blind, and I therefore can hardly understand on what grounds my interference is required'.
