תולדות: הרה"ק רבי שלום יחזקאל שרגא מצעשינוב. בן הרה"ק רבי אריה לייב מטומשוב-צעשינוב. גדול בתורה ות"ח מופלג, נשא ונתן עם כל גדולי דורו ומופיע רבות בספרי השו"ת של כל גדולי ישראל בדורו, ועד לטוניס-ג'רבה הרחוקה נשא ונתן בהלכה עם הגאון רבי מצליח מאזוז הי"ד. גיסו של האדמו"ר רבי שלמה מבאבוב (השני) זצ"ל. בקי גדול בתולדות ישראל והו"ל ספר לתולדות קהילתו – טומשוב, בעילום שם.
