Letter to a Mashpia, Signed by the Admo"r of Lubavitch. 11 Nissan, 1961
Letter of blessing for the Passover festival - the festival of freedom, signed by the Admo"r of Lubavitch, to Rabbi Pinchas Leibush Hertzel, elder Chaba"d Chassid in the Land of Israel, who served as mashpia in Jerusalem at the "Ba'al HaTanya" Chaba"d synagogue. 11 Nissan, 1961, Brooklyn, New York.
The Rebbe gives profuse blessings: "Freedom from worries, " "Divine service with joy and good-heartedness, " "and to continue with this freedom and joy throughout all the days of the year."
Rabbi Pinchas Leibush Hertzel [1923-2015] was a Jerusalem Chaba"d mashpia. For close to forty years he would write the details of the activities of the Chaba"d community of Jerusalem to the Rebbe.
[1] official stationery paper. 21 cm. The letter is typewritten, signed by the Rebbe at the end; very fine condition except for professional restoration to the upper right corner.
