Abuchatzira Dynasty: Marriage Certificate Signed by Rabbi Meir Abuchatzeira - Baba Meir
Marriage Certificate written in Judeo-Arabic and French and signed by
Rabbi Meir Abuchatzeira during his tenure as Rabbi of Midelt, Morocco.
Rabbi Yehuda Samchon and Rabbi Masoud Millol signed as witnesses along with an approval of their signatures handwritten by Rabbi Meir.
Rabbi Meir Abuchatzeria (1917 - 1983), known as the Baba Meir, was the son of the renowned Baba Sali and father of Rabbi Elazar Abuchatzeira. He was a righteous miracle worker who served as Rabbi of Midelt, Morocco and then as Rabbi of Arpod. He later immigrated to Eretz Yisrael and passed away in Ashdod.
