AN OSMAN OMAROV CAUCASIAN BEBUT DAGGER, 19TH C.
The blade forged by a famous gunsmith Osman Omarov, a participant at the exhibitions in Paris in 1894 and Kiev in 1897. His workshop was located in Vladikavkaz. Omarov’s weapons were in great demand among the highlanders, Cossack, and also among Russian officers. The blade has the stamp of Osman and is richly decorated with ornaments on both sides.
