Autograph letter responding to the Rov of Boniyahd. Regarding the arrangements of a husband travelling to Budapest to divorce his wife, enquiring if halachicly he may marry a different lady on the day following his divorce.
R. Chananya Dov Kohn (died 1970), served as a Dayan in Budapest. Following the Holocaust he immigrated to America, settling in Williamsburg. Highly respected, he was one of the distinguished rabbinical figures in New York following the Holocaust.
