Seven handwritten pages of Torah on the topic of “T’nai L’vatel Es HaNeder”, handwritten and signed by R. Elya Chazan, Rosh Yeshivas Torah Vo’daas.
R. Eliyahu Simcha HaLevi Chazan (1906-1982), studied for 12 years under R. Baruch Ber Leibowitz in Kaminetz and is considered one of his foremost students. He also heard shiurim from the Brisker Rav in Vilna in 1941. After the War, he initially settled in Canada, where he served as Rav in the Chevra Shas shul and as Maggid Shiur in Yeshivas Mercaz HaTorah. In the early 1960’s he moved to New York, where he served as Rosh Yeshiva in Torah Vo’daas until his passing. He authored the 5 volume Divrei Eliyahu. Renowned as a tremendous Talmid Chochom and outstanding Lamdan, he had a profound influence on generations of talmidim.
