Proceedings of the first “Rabbinical Congress” in Cracow, arranged by R. Eliyahu Akiva Rabinowitz, the editor of “HaPeles”. Signatories of these protocols include R. Chaim HaLevi Horowitz, Av Beis Din of Cracow; R. Yonason Binyomin HaLevi Horowitz and R. Yehuda Leib Tsirelsohn.
Cracow was for hundreds of years one of the most prominent Jewish communities in Europe in general and of Galicia in particular. This “Congress”, in the summer of 1903, was attended by over fifty Rabbonim who convened to discuss important matters pertaining to this distinguished community.
