Novella on Masechtos Sanhedrin and Kesubos by R. Yaakov Schor, Av Beis Din in Brisk. With approbations by the Ashkenazic and Sephardic Rabbonim of Amsterdam including the renowned R. Yaakov Sasportas.
R. Yaakov Schor was one of leading Talmidei Chachomim of his era. He was a son of R. Zalman Schor, author of the first Tevuos Shor (Kitzur Beis Yosef), whom he succeeded as Av Beis Din in Brisk. He maintained a halachic correspondence with R. Moshe Lima (Chelkas Mechokek) regarding Agunos and some of his responsa were printed in Shu”t Geonei Basrai.
