Important and Exciting Letter from the Admo"r of Vizhnitz, Author of Yeshuot Moshe
Lengthy letter, important and exciting. Entirely handwritten and signed by the Admo"r Rabbi Moshe Yehoshua Hager of Vizhnitz to Rabbi Ya'akov David Vizhnitzer, administrator of the Vizhnitz institutions for many years.
This letter deals with, inter alia, the development and prosperity of the Vizhnitz neighborhood of Bnei Brak and the status of the Vizhnitz institutions. The Rebbe expresses with much emotion, "It gives life to my soul to hear glad tidings and good activities in all our good areas, education, Torah study, enthusiastic prayer, charity and benevolence ..." The Rebbe also hints in his letter at a specific program for Arad: "and we will speak together about details that are not to be committed to writing."
The Admo"r, the author of Yeshuot Moshe Vizhnitz (1916-2012), was the president of the Council of Torah Sages, a wondrous gaon in all realms of Torah, hidden and revealed, with a pleasant, majestic appearance, a remnant of the Admo"rs of previous generations. He presided for over 40 years after succeeding his father, the author of Imrei Chaim.
