Manuscript, Machatzit Hashekel, on the laws of Nidda in Yoreh De'ah. From chapter 183 through middle of chapter 200. By Rabbi Shmuel Ha-Levi Kelin of Buskovitz. Porlitz, 1819.
One the title-page, it says that the book was copied from the writings of the city Rabbi, Rabbi Avraham Lamnitz.
The book Machatzit Hashekel on Shulchan Aruch Yoreh De'ah existed for many years only in manuscript form, manually copied and brought from city to city, and began to be printed part by part (with copying mistakes) in 1819. The book on Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim was published in 1807, about a year after the author's passing in 1806).
Rabbi Avraham Lamentz, Rabbi of Porlitz community, Bohemia. There is a response written to him in The Chatam Sofer Responsum on Yoreh De'ah, chapter 324, from year 1824, in which he served as Rabbi of Halich.
84 leaves (leaves 5 and 8 were bound out of place), 25 cm. Fair condition, restored wear damage, with omitted text. New binding.
