Lilien – Three Books
1. Juda – poems on the Bible era, by Börries von Münchhausen. Berlin, 1900. German. The entire book including cover, title-page and borders, is illustrated by E. M. Lilien.
[48] leaves, 24.5 cm. Good condition. Damaged binding. Lengthy, hand-written dedication.
2. Judischer Almanach – Annual publication of the "Bar Kochba" Organization. Vienna 1910. Includes illustrations by E. M .Lilien, Hermann Struck and other artists. The painting on the cover is by Ya'akov Stark, Bezalel artist. German.
215 leaves + 15 picture plates. 26 cm. Good condition.
3. Judischer Nationalkalender – Calendar for the Jewish year. Vienna, 1915. German. The picture on the title page is the work of Lilien: Joshua bin Nun based on a profile of Herzl.
