Diverse collection of manuscript leaves and book remnants (prayers, piyutim, kabala etc). Oriental countries (Morocco, Turkey etc.), various periods: 17th-20th centuries.
Some of the items: remnants of an ancient manuscript with two sections of a work on astronomy, with mention of the date 1574 and the name Rabbi Daniel Pirchiya HaCohen, a Thessaloniki Torah scholar [died 1568]; amulet on paper; shtarot of Ma'ase Beit Din and leaf remnants with rabbis' signatures [including Rabbi Ya'akov Toledano, Rabbi Yichye Aviktzitz, Rabbi Moshe HaLevi – Chacham Bashi of Constantinople; etc]; a pamphlet of segulot for travelers; binding (leaves stuck together) with letters or document connected to "My sweet brother…Rabbi Yuda Tuvi"; etc.
