Letter Signed by Rabbi Shach and the Steipler

Typewritten letter, signed by R. "Elazar Menachem Man Shach" and by R. "Ya'akov Yisrael Kanievsky". [1970s].
Call to save the "Dire financial state of Chinuch Atzma'i… which constitutes the foundation of the existence of Torah in our Holy Land".Enclosed is another copy of the letter, with copies of the signatures of R. Yisrael Alter of Ger, R. Moshe Yehoshua Hager, R. Shach and the Steipler, and other inscriptions handwritten and signed by R. Fishel Gelernter [an employee of the Chinuch Azma'i], who writes that this letter was sent to R. Chaim Kreiswirth Rabbi of Antwerp, who added his opening to the beginning of the letter: "Please be our mouthpiece and bring our call to the European assembly".
