Memorial Candle Holder - Shaped as Moroccan Finials
Holder for a memorial candle. [Morocco / Israel, ca. mid-20th century].
Cast and sawn brass.
A hexagonal, upright holder, serving as a candlestick, with a mechanism for lifting and lowering the holder. Decorated with horseshoe-arches and triangles, designed as a Torah Finial; resembling North African Torah finials.
Length: 24.5 cm, width: 9.5 cm. Lacking the handle for operating the lifting mechanism.
