Two Paper Labels – the Association for Distributing the Shares of the Jewish Colonial Trust – Herzl's Portrait
Two paper labels of the "Association for Distributing the Shares of the Jewish Colonial Trust". [Late 19th century / early 20th century?].
Two triangular paper labels. On one of them, Theodor Herzl's portrait is printed with the Hebrew inscriptions "Shalom Zion" and "Ozer Zion". On the second label, a star-of-David and the Hebrew inscription "Does not transfer from domain to domain" are printed as well as the sum of 1.80 pounds. Possibly, the labels served as postage stamps.
Approx. 3x5cm. Good condition. Handwriting on one of the labels.
