Long time ago we bought a collection of Jewish pictures from the same Jewish artist. It was made on different paper including a paper from printed factory (he was working where?) or other side of maps in German language.
On the market there are a lot of copies of the pictures of that author (because he is very popular artist). You can easy to see the difference: all copies was made with bright colors of water - based paints. Also it were glow under a black light (all modern paper are glow under a black light).
The picture is signed by author and dated.
SIZE: 154 x 230 mm.
This particular item passed very important test - it does not glow under the black lamp (all paper after 1945 glow under the black light) - please look at the images. Selling as a consignment. Please note: last image is for sample only.

It is a centre of Hutsul culture. At the turn of the 20th century the city was the most populous city in Stanislawow voivodeship.
