A group of two lead-alloy seals for the lids of apothecaries' storage jars, one with profile bust and foliage within a double border, legend 'Periac[...]tina ai dosi in vinv[..]' ('give [this] in wine'?); one similar with bust over '1603' date, legend 'vivat.teriacaeiima.cate stagiorom' (?). 42.7 grams total, 38mm (1 1/2"). Fine condition. [2]
