A chert cylinder seal with a group of figures consisting of a naked hero in the centre, with curled hair, grasping a wild goat and a red-deer, each of which is being attacked by a lion; both lions seized by the tail by the hands of two other naked heros, between both naked heroes, a capride leaning against the one on the left. 3.6 grams, 17mm (1/2"). Very fine condition.

Property of a North London gentleman; previously in a London collection since before 1999.
