A bronze pommel formed as a rectangular block with circular hole to each face, surmounted by a horse-head with pellet eyes and mane with dentilled edge; bone insert from the hilt to the underside. 20 grams, 35mm (1 1/2"). Fine condition.

From the collection of a North London gentleman; acquired in the 1980s.
