Roman Votive Oil Lamp with Ox-Head
1st-2nd century AD
A bronze miniature oil lamp with discoid base, bulbous body, nozzle formed as a bull's head, tab handle with volute scrolls to the base, bull's horns framing the discus. 85 grams, 73mm (3"). Fine condition.

Property of a gentleman; acquired in the late 1960s-early 1970s.
