A gold ring with inset carnelian intaglio engraved with a pair of wheat stalks and modius; the hoop with raised median band, a single granule to each side of the bezel. 3.03 grams, 22.01mm overall, 19.47x16.45mm internal diameter (approximate size British P, USA 7 1/2, Europe 16.23, Japan 15) (3/4"). Fine condition.

Property of a gentleman; acquired in the late 1960s-early 1970s.
