1st-2nd century AD
A bronze statuette of Venus, standing nude and holding a mirror in her left hand, her hair dressed in loose curls falling on her shoulders and back, wearing a diadem on centre-parted hair. 117 grams, 11.5cm (4 1/2"). Fine condition.

Property of a gentleman; acquired in the late 1960s-early 1970s.
