A bronze military buckle comprising a D-shaped loop and tongue with transverse ribs, rectangular plaque with stud to each corner, gorgoneion modelled in the half-round. 16 grams, 61mm (2 1/2"). Fine condition.

From an East London collector; previously in a collection formed between 1990-2000.
