Sterling Silver Fruit Bowl Centerpiece, Emile Delaire, Paris, France, Circa 1890.
Of oval baluster form, the body embossed with panels of musical instruments among foliate scrolls, central scrolled cartouche, cast foliate scroll wavy-edge rim.
Raised on four masked leaf-scrolled feet.
Engraved with a monogrammed cartouche.
The bottom of the bowl is engraved with a personal dedication that reads - "To my dearest Beverley, on her 50th birthday, love mother".
Marked with French silver marks (first standard mark - 950) and maker's mark for Emile Delaire.
