Recommendation signed by Rabbi David Povarsky – 1963
Letter of recommendation on the official stationery of the Ponevezh Yeshiva for Rabbi Yisrael Meir Zachrish, signed by Rabbi David Povarsky.
Rabbi David Povarsky (1902-1999) was a very diligent scholar and Rosh Yeshiva of Ponevezh for over fifty years. He wrote Yeshuat David and Chiddushei Rabbi David on the Talmudic tractates typically studied in yeshiva.
Rabbi Yisrael Meir Zachrish (1934-2011), a student of the Chazon Ish, taught at the Yarchei Kalla Beit Midrash in Bnei Brak.
