. Kol Bo—Venice, 1567.
Halachot and minhagim from the period of the Rishonim. By one of the great Rishonim, printed by Zorzei di Cabali, Venice 1567. This is a fundamental work of halacha, accepted widely in the Diaspora. The book deals with issues of brachot, prayers, minhagei shabbatot and holidays, marriage, funding, sustenance, and mourning. Included in the book is one of the earliest exegeses on the Pesach Haggadah. The book is attributed to the Ribash, though the Hida rejects this possibility. There are those who say that Rabbi Aharon HaKohen of Lunil wrote it. The book Koreh HaDorot writes that there are those who say that an educated woman wrote the book. | Signatures and listings of ownership, among them is ancient Mizrahi handwriting. Moth damage. Binding and fourth page are missing. Generally ok condition.
