Two Advertising Signs – "Elephant" Tea / "Frigidaire" Refrigerator – Palestine, 1920s or 1940s
Two small advertising signs printed on thick paper. Arieli press, Tel-Aviv, [1930s or 1940s].
1. "Try 'Elephant' Brand Tea", an advertising sign for Ceylon tea. Hebrew, English and Arabic.
30X19.5 cm. Good condition. Small tear at margins. Stains. Creases. Pasting traces and small damage to the back of the sign.
2. "Only with the original Frigidaire refrigerator made by General Motors in your home – your food will be fresh!" An advertising sign in color in lithographic printing. "I. Kagan Advertising".
30X25 cm. Good condition. Crack at top left corner. Creases. Stains. Pasting traces and slight defects to back.
