Iton Rishmi – Issues 1-50
Itun Rishmi. Issues no. 1 (May 14, 1948) until Issue no. 50 (February 11, 1949), bound together in their original binding with indexes. Printed with the permit of the Provisional Government, printed by HaPoel HaTza'ir, Tel Aviv.
The issues contain an abundance of information regarding the emergency state in Israel and the initial organization of the various institutes of the nascent State of Israel. A thick divider separates the 1948 issues from the 1949 issues. A separate index was printed for each year and is bound before the year's issues.
VIII, 168 pp (pages 11, 12, 35 and 36 are lacking and were replaced with typewritten pages); X pp, [1] leaf, 438 pp, 32 c. Good condition. Stains. Few tears to margins. Few tears restored with glued paper or with adhesive tape. Worming to last leaf and to endpapers. Stains and damage to binding.
