Complete Set of Yismach Moshe on the Torah from Rabbi Moshe Teitelbaum of Ohel, Lemberg 1849 - 1861

Explanations on the Chamisha Chumshei Torah taken from the manuscripts of Rabbi Moshe Teitelbaum, Av Beis Din of Ohel, organized and edited by his nephew Rabbi Yekusiel Yehuda Teitelbaum, author of Yetev Lev.

Printed in Lemberg, 1849 – 1861, each section boasts its own title page and there are approbations from Rabbi Chaim of Sanz and the Yetev Lev .

Rabbi Moshe David Teitelbaum, a nephew of the Yetev Lev, quotes his uncle who told him that he once contemplated changing the order in Rabbi Moshe's manuscripts for the sake of clarification. He fell into a deep sleep and a likeness of the Yismach Moshe appeared to him and said: "My son, if a lulav stands upwards like the way it is grown, then it is a lulav that is worthy of blessing. And if it is turned upside down with the leaves on bottom, then it is like a broom to sweep the house;" a clear message that his holy manuscripts was carefully written with great thought and calculation.

The sefer also includes many Torah ideas that were revealed to the Yismach Moshe in a night vision.

Rabbi Moshe Teitelbaum, also known as the Yismach Moshe, was the patriarch of the Sighet-Satmar dynasty. He was one of the great responsivists of his time and a holy Kabbalist, known throughout the world for his kameyas (amulets). In 1808 he was appointed rabbi of Ohel and was the first leader of Chassidus in Hungary. Renowned for his piety, the Chassam Sofer himself requested his blessing and that he pray for his ill son.
