A Complete Handwritten Letter by Rabbi Chaim Soloveitchik, Brisk 1903

A handwritten letter from Rabbi Chaim Soloveitchik, Av Beis Din of Brisk, written while arbitrating a major financial dispute between two wealthy brothers-in-law from Poland.
In his letter he requests that the addressee sign whatever needed to be signed and not raise concerns that they have no logical basis.
Rabbi Chaim Soloveitchik (1853 - 1918) was the son of the Beis HaLevi and son-in-law of the Toras Refael, son-in-law of the Netziv. He was a great scholar and leader of his generation with disciples numbering in the thousands. With his quick grasp and analytical, in-depth style of learning, he left his mark on the yeshivah world forever. In 1891 he succeeded his father as rabbi of Brisk.
