Tefilla Lemoshe: Rare Important Chassidic Sefer by Rabbi Moshe Eichenstein of Sambor, First Edition
Torah Explanations with ethical lessons by Rabbi Moshe Eichenstein of Sambor, brother and disciple of Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch of Zidichov, printed in 1856.
Rabbi Moshe Eichenstein of Sambor (1765 - 1840) was a close disciple of the Chozeh of Lublin and of his brother, Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch of Zidichov, and Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Rimanov. He mentions them all in his sefer, particularly his brother, and brings down many thoughts and stories from the Chozeh.
Following his brother's passing, many of his Chassidim flocked to Rabbi Moshe who was greatly admired by the leaders of his generation. His remarkable humility is evident in his style of writing and in the expressions he uses regarding himself in his sefer. He was the father of Rabbi Yehuda Tzvi Eichenstein of Rozdol.
