PISSARRO CAMILLE: (1830-1903) French Impressionist Painter. A.L.S., C. Pissarro, one page, 8vo, Eragny par Gisors, 10th December 1894, to Monsieur Marty, in French. Pissarro states «Would you be so kind to keep for me a copy of the Almanac by Emile Verhaeren and Theo van Rysselberghe, which has recently been published and which I have been told you sell in Paris. I would like to get the copy related to Japan..« Matted in white. With an horizontal fold, otherwise VG £1500-2000 Emile Verhaeren (1855-1916) Belgian Poet and Artist. One of the founders of the school of Symbolism. Verhaeren was nominated six times for the Nobel Prize in Literature. Thophile van Rysselberghe (1862-1926) Belgian Painter.
