[BONNIE & CLYDE]: Bonnie Elizabeth Parker (1910-1934) & Clyde Chestnut Barrow (1909-1934), American criminals and robbers during the Great Depression who killed at least nine police officers. They were killed at the very early age of 23 when they were ambushed by police in Louisiana. An original printed 8 x 8 Wanted poster issued by J. Edgar Hoover and the United States Department of Justice, Division of Investigation, Washington D.C., 21st May 1934, only two days after the present document was issued. The poster features two photographs showing Bonnie & Clyde outdoors in half length poses. Also featuring a full description of each of them, providing details of their scars, bullet wounds, relatives and a lengthy criminal record. To the verso showing a printed list entitled Special Agent in Charge, showing thirty U.S cities with a telephone number assigned to each of them. VG £150-200
