ISOUARD NICOLAS: (1773-1818) Also known as ''Nicolo di Malta''. French-Maltese Composer. A good and rare A.L.S., Nicolo, one page, 8vo, n.p., n.d., to Monsieur John, in French. Isouard states in part `Yesterday on my way back from the countryside with Etienne and HoffmanÉam with a sprained arm. I am not in condition to go out and wishes to meet you, this evening the authors assembly will have a meetingÉ« further saying `If you cannot come to see me, send to me Mr. Flechella, it is absolutely necessary that we update my affairs..« With blank address leaf and remnants of a former black seal to the verso. Very small overall, minor age wear, otherwise VG £400-600
