GERSHWIN GEORGE: (1898-1937) American Composer & Pianist. D.S., George Gershwin, being a signed cheque, New York, 4th December 1929. The partially printed cheque is drawn on the National City Bank of New York and is made payable to Warendorf for the sum of $15. Signed by Gershwin in bold black fountain pen ink, two bank cancellations only very slightly affecting a couple of letters of the signature. One small stain to the upper right corner of the cheque, VG. £400-600
