OTTOMAN EMPIRE BALKAN FLINTLOCK RIFLE, 19 C.
A higher quality Balkanian flintlock rifle possibly made for Albanian market under the Ottoman Empire. The breech part of the barrel has the following stylized European writing: "A PEDRETT". Lock plate is striked with maker's markings and date. The stock is mounted in hammered brass decorated with corals and silver rosette. The flintlock is decorated with engraving. Good action.
