Classic sefer of Derashos authored by R. Eliezer Figo (Gidulei Terumah). Enormously popular, the sefer was reprinted many times with many of the later “Drush” seforim based upon it. With signature of R. Boruch Bendet Goitein and library stamps of R. Eliyohu Menachem Goitein.
R. Boruch Bendet Goitein (died 1830) studied in the great Yeshiva of Brody under R. Moshe (Ma’Haram) Mintz. Author of the sefer Kessef Nivchar, a compendium of Talmudic directives (Prague 1827) which was received with great acclaim. He served as Rav in Hodias and following his passing, the Rabbinate of Hodias was led by his distinguished descendants until the Holocaust.
