Novella and culled commentary on the Tur and Beis Yosef Orach Chaim, by R. Chaim Benbneshti. The last seven pages contain responsa and novella by R. Dovid Oppenheim of Prague.
With library stamp and handwritten glosses throughout by R. Shmuel Gintzler. R. Shmuel Gintzler (1835-1911) was a brother in law and talmid of R. Avrohom Yehuda Ha’Cohen Schwartz (Kol Aryeh). Known as a tremendous Talmid Chochom he served as Rav in Ober Vishiva for 45 years. Author of Meishiv Nefesh.
Additional signature of R. Shraga Feivish Horowitz, Rav of Paks and later Pupa. He was a fierce opponent of the Reform movement who when in 1830 was coerced to deliver a sermon in a foreign language, he collapsed and passed away in the middle of the sermon.
