Handwritten and hand-signed letter byRabbi Avraham Leib Zilberman, 1929, who was the rabbi of the city of Safed and the Moshavot, on printed stationary of the Rabbi. In good condition: two binder holes in the right margin, a horizontal folding mark in the center, slightly yellowing paper. Dimensions: 28.5x22 cm. * Rabbi Avraham Yehuda Leib Zilberman (May 1889 - October 1947) was the Chief Rabbi of Safed for thirty years. He was born in Safed, the son of Yitzhak Dov Zilberman, head of the Ashkenazi community of Safed, and grandson of Rabbi Refael Zilberman, who served as chief rabbi of the Ashkenazi community in Safed.
