Rabbi Yehoshua (Yehoshual'e) Rokeach [1823-1894]: "The Middle Rebbe" was the second Rebbe of the Belz dynasty. Served as Rebbe for close to forty years until his death. Considered one of the foremost chassidic leaders in Europe at the time. It was during his time that the Belz chassidut became one of the largest chassidic groups. Known as a miracle worker, and thousands of people flocked to him to receive his blessing and be saved.
