Lot of 2 items of the HMS Zealous destroyer Eilat
Lot of 2 items of the HMS Zealous destroyer Eilat, includes: 1. Printed ribbon reading 'ISRAEL NAVY "EILAT" SHIP' with the Navy insignia in the center. Light blue strips above and under it. 2. Triangular flag with the Navy insignia and an inscription reading 'Israel Defence Forces, Navy" on a blue background, a white triangle with the Star of David on the flag' bottom part. Over the years, the Navy owned 4 watercrafts named MHS Zealous "Eilat". These items are presumably related to the one marked by the military K-40. The watercraft operated from 1956 until 21 October, 1967, when it was drowned by an Egyptian missile boat off the coast of Port Said during a standard security mission. The items are in good condition: stains, folding marks, a number of holes.
