Avi Ben Baruch (born 1949), untitled, combined techniques on paper (collage, oil, marker pen), signed and dated 1974, framed, dimensions: 73X57 cm. *Avi Ben Baruch is a painter, born in Casablanca, Morocco, 1949. He moved to Israel in 1955. Media - drawing, ink and coal, oil, engraving. Studied art at the Jaffa Youth Art Center and the Avni Institute, Tel Aviv, where he also taught. He won a number of prizes and awards: in 1975 he recieved a scholarship from the Ministry of Education and Culture, on that same year he also won a scholarship from the French government, in 1977 he one the Cinematheque Prize for the film Take Off.
