Arthur William Heintzelman, American, 1891 to 1965, large collection of sixty four etchings on paper depicting male, female, child portraits, animal portraits, children in landscape scenes, and others. The prints are signed and marked in the print. Engraved by Louis Welt, signed in the plate. Completed with printed sheets showing detailed information. Arthur William Heintzelman was an American painter, etcher, copyist, teacher, and curator. Already widely respected as a printmaker prior to his departure for Europe, he became internationally famous during his years abroad and was - and is - regarded as one of the greatest etchers of the Twentieth Century.
