ANTIQUE FRENCH 19TH C. GILT BRONZE MANTEL CLOCK
A large French Empire style mantel clock with a black marble base decorated with raised gilt bronze overlays and a finely cast figure of a seated Roman soldier holding a spear and wearing a laurel wreath. The sculpture is covered with a nice brown patina. The dial is white enameled, with blue Roman numerals. Dated circa 1870. Antique European Mantel Clock, Cabinet Decor And Collectibles.
