PAIR OF ANTIQUE RUSSIAN AND GREEK ORTHODOX ICONS
A pair of Russian Orthodox icons. The first: a portrait icon on wood with a gold and silver embossing depicting the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II who was canonized by the Russian Orthodox Church at the end of the 1990s, inscribed lower to the center, circa 20th century. The second: an antique Greek Christian Orthodox hand painted on a wooden panel Icon of The Annunciation Evangelismos of The Theotokos, inscribed upper to the center, circa late 19th early 20th centuries.
