ANTIQUE FRENCH JOACHIM MURAT ETCHING BY JACQUEMIN
An antique French hand colored military etching portrait of Joachim Napoleon Murat who became Marshall and Admiral of France under Napoleon. He was also the Grand Duke of Berg and King of Naples. He married Napoleons younger sister Caroline Bonaparte. Signed on board Raphael Jacquemin lower left. Issued for Iconographie General et Methodique du Costume du IV au XIX siecle. Collection gravee a leau forte dapres les documents authentiques and inedits par Raphael Jacquemin. Paris, 1869. Antique Military Print Collectibles.
