"Dede" ("Dede") is an Israeli graffiti artist, born in the late 80s of the 20th century, who began exhibiting his works on the streets of Tel Aviv in 2006. Dede's hallmark is the image of plasters, which appear in many of his works, hence Nicknamed Dede Bandaid.
Throughout his years of activity in Tel Aviv, he received special exposure due to his use of large elements from the public space and their transformation into receptive ideological icons. Among them you can see a bridge base in the Ayalon River that turned into a yellow submarine, the rest of a bridge that turned into a huge clothespin, a parking lot that was converted into a target for missiles, etc. Particularly great attention was drawn to his work at the abandoned dolphinarium in Tel Aviv, which became a set of teeth on a spring.
In his works, "Dede" addresses many social issues, including social protest, capital-government ties, the housing problem and the plight of the homeless in Tel Aviv.
Dede's works are displayed mainly in the public space, but despite this, the artist tries to avoid pure vandalism. At the end of the first decade of the 21st century, Dede began exhibiting in galleries and museums in the country, such as Tzadik Gallery, Kishon Gallery, Alfred Gallery, P8, Zimak Gallery, Fresh Paint Fair, Ein Hod Museum, Haifa Museum and others. And then in galleries in New York, Miami, London, Berlin, Russia and more.

Since 2014, Dede has been creating in collaboration with his partner, Nitzan Mintz. The two exhibited their joint works in Prague, Belgrade, Lodz, Berlin and at the Pulse, Context, Scope art fairs in Miami.
