Classics. Mishna Berurah. Complete Set. First Editions! Warsaw 1884-1907. 3 Volumes with "Muga" Rare!
Classic commentary to the Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim, by R. Yisroel Meir Ha’Cohen, the Chofetz Chaim.
R. Yisroel Meir Ha’Cohen Kagan (1838-1933), was the undisputed Torah leader of his generation and authored many Seforim based on what he felt needed emphasizing at the time, such as the laws of forbidden speech, practical Halacha, family purity and daily Torah study. He strongly felt that it was imperative that an extensive authoritative commentary be authored on Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim. After approaching numerous Gaonim to undertake this task, all of whom declined, the Chofetz Chaim undertook the immense task assisted by his son R. Leib. The project took more than 25 years and was received to almost unprecedented acclaim. Today there is hardly a “Torah home” without a set of Mishnah Berurah. As is well known, the Chofetz Chaim was personally involved in the printing and distributing of his Seforim, often travelling considerable distances for that purpose.
